Electrical Engineer
Job description
Koch Finishing Systems is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design, program, and commission control panels for automated finishing equipment. Join a hands-on team delivering innovative solutions in manufacturing automation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical and control systems for automated equipment.
- Program PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMIs, and other control devices.
- Create and review schematics and layout drawings (UL508A compliance).
- Develop specifications for electrical components and systems.
- Test, debug, and troubleshoot control systems.
- Support installation and commissioning at customer sites.
- Produce documentation including manuals, diagrams, and drawings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in controls engineering for manufacturing or automation.
- Proficient with Allen-Bradley PLCs, RSLogix 500/5000, Rockwell programming.
- Knowledge of C, C++, or Python for embedded controls.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- UL508A certification required.
- Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
