Your New Role
This internship will be located in the Atlanta area. The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule.
As a Growth & Innovation Intern you will be working as part of a team leveraging exciting new and emerging technology with some of the most recognizable sports brands such as Bleacher Report, NBA on TNT, NHL on TNT, and All Elite Wrestling.Growth & Innovation Interns will report into the Head of Community and will divide their time between working on, and learning about fan engagement and reward programs, and working on a new unreleased mobile free to play video game.
Responsibilities
- Gain experience leveraging Unity game engine to develop mobile free to play video games.
- Assist in the development of daily fan engagement and rewards programs.
- Assist in the programming of content for a fan engagement and reward program.
- At the end of your internship, you will have gained key knowledge and experience in developing mobile free to play video games and have employed cutting edge technology to enhance fan engagement and reward programs.
Job Requirements
- Plays video games and/or develops video games.
- Interested in professional wrestling, particularly All Elite Wrestling.
- Interested in professional sports like NBA, NHL, MLB, etc.
- Interested in new and emerging technology such as Web3
- Taken part in game jams or has worked on a video game before.
- Interested in Discord, and video game communities.
- Must be actively enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
- Must be a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
- Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA)
