About the Role

Our company partner (to be disclosed during the interview process) is seeking a Data Engineer – Business Intelligence to support mission-critical initiatives at Scott Air Force Base. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while applying advanced analytics and business intelligence skills to drive data-informed decision-making.

The Data Engineer will be responsible for managing across the project lifecycle, from scoping and requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and implementation. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in data querying and analytics, paired with experience in financial or government environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute across all phases of the project lifecycle, including scope definition, requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, training, and deployment.
• Develop solutions for financial data and system challenges related to posting logic, compliance, data management, and process improvement.
• Design, prepare, and deliver clear, logical, and concise reports and analyses for key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with data querying, analytics, visualization, or automation tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Python, UiPath, or similar technologies.
• Experience in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements or documents for U.S. Federal government entities (preferred).
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
