Algorithms Engineer Internship

Students eligible to participate in our summer internship program must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher. Start and end dates will be determined based on the selected candidate’s school schedule. Interns are expected to work 10 weeks (at 40 hours per week).

During our summer internship program, you will be given assignments that expand on the skills you have developed in school and provide on the job experience.

As an Electrical Algorithms Engineer Internship you will:

• Collaborate with Applications Engineers to collect data to support models, and validate the effectiveness as they are used in our tools

• Execute application test efforts in lab

• Operate high-powered lab equipment for electrical testing and battery validation purposes

• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures is a plus

• Work to find optimization opportunities in team processes

• Maintain battery inventories

• Demonstrate desire for continuous improvement and advancing quality.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering

• Analytics and communication skills

• Experience using Excel and SharePoint a plus

• Must be able to lift and maneuver 12V batteries – 30-50lbs.

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.    

• Must be able to use hands in order to type.  

• Must be able to view computer screen for long periods of time.

• Able to work through occasional shop noise.
