Computer Programmer - Level 1

The Programmer Level 1 is responsible for writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining code under the guidance of senior developers. This entry-level role assists in software development, supports system enhancements, and ensures program functionality aligns with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, modify, and test code based on specifications.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
• Assist in the design and development of small-scale applications.
• Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements.
• Document code and technical processes.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with development tools (IDEs, version control like Git).
• Understanding of fundamental programming concepts (OOP, data structures).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to databases (SQL, MySQL).
• Basic knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS).
• Internship or academic project experience in coding.
