
Controls Engineer
Job description
Applies standard engineering techniques to design, develop, and maintain instrumentation or controls systems.
Job Duties
Oversee sourcing and purchasing, shipping and receiving, handling, inventory control, Automate manufacturing or similar processes through the use of instrumentation or controls systems
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 Develop new and modify existing PLC or HMI applications, interfaces or embedded controls
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 Participate in set-up and commissioning of new facilities or upgrading of existing facilities
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions and make recommendations that will improve efficiency or quality of operations
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 Document specifications and operating procedures
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
Perform work under general supervision
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 May provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
路 聽 聽 聽 聽 Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience
