
DSP Software Engineer Intern - Aurora, CO

The ideal candidate will have outstanding technical talent, effective oral and written communication skills, passion about his or her work, is excited by learning about and applying new technologies, and has a sense of ownership about his or her work and an entrepreneurial spirit. He or she will have some coursework or experience with software design, C/C++, signal processing algorithm design, GPUs, MATLAB.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implementation, test, and integration of Software incorporating DSP algorithms and techniques.
- Design and development of software applications.
- Document and communicate technical research results effectively to technical and non-technical user groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Coursework in signal processing and software.
- High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems.
- Experience with C/C++
- Experience with MATLAB
- Knowledge of stochastic signal processing and digital communications.
- Excellent organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Python and/or other programming languages
- Knowledge of Linux and associated development tools
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms implementation in Software and FPGAs
- Experience with GPUs for high performance signal processing computing
- Experience with modern communication modulations (FSK, OFDM, QAM, etc.)
- Experience with distributed software version control systems and continuous integration, such as Git
- Familiarity with code revision management tools such as Git/Clearcase/Bitbucket
Pay Range: $30-$38/hr (Based on year of college and internship status)
The contracts ICR has with its customers require a security clearance, which, at a minimum, requires applicants to be U.S. citizens. Proof of citizenship will be required as part of the hiring process.
