
Electrical Controls Engineer
Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Controls Engineer to join our engineering team focused on the design and implementation of advanced control systems for recreational vehicles. This role blends electrical engineering expertise with controls engineering, emphasizing user interface integration and multiplexing technologies to enhance the functionality and user experience of modern RVs.

Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
• Design control systems that integrate intuitive user interfaces for enhanced interaction.
• Develop and implement multiplexing solutions tailored to RV control systems.
• Support product development and contribute to the design and functionality of motorhomes.
System Implementation
• Implement control algorithms to optimize performance and reliability of automated systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of UI components with electrical systems.
Testing & Troubleshooting
• Conduct system-level testing and validation to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to control systems, electrical components, user interfaces, and multiplexing.
Documentation & Support
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams and end users.
• Assist production teams with the implementation and launch of new products.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proven experience in controls engineering, with a focus on user interface design and multiplexing systems.
• Familiarity with PLC programming and control system architecture.
Skills
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical systems in a production or field environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software and control system design tools (NX / Team Center Preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
