
Electrical Engineer
Job description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Create, update, validate electrical designs and drawings covering power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation for all areas of operations
• Update system drawings and the site wide power distribution system model
• Perform equipment failure analysis and make appropriate recommendations
• Reviewing proposed equipment replacement or upgrades including capital projects
• Provide cost estimates for engineering projects
• Work with other engineers and maintenance department to complete projects (Planning, Scheduling, Reliability)
• Support the operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement
• Coordinate and manage various “key” projects with “shutdown/outages”
• Scheduling and coordinating with contractors for capital projects/major maintenance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
