Job description

Job Duties: Originates and develops analysis methods to determine reliability of electrical components, equipment and processes. Acquires and analyzes data. Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations and reports to define reliability problems and make recommendations for electrical engineering improvements. Conducts analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the required reliability approach for a particular situation, with consideration given to cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime, repair/replacement costs and weight, size and availability of materials/equipment. Determines cost advantages of alternatives and develops action plans that comply with internal/external customer demands for reliable processes/equipment to avoid

failures.

Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and three (3) months of experience in the job offered, as a Research Assistant, or a related occupation.

Special Requirements:   Must have experience and/or academic training with each of the following:

1.   E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

2.   Electrical PCB Circuit Analysis and Design

3.   Use of electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters

4.   Design Tools : Power World, MATLAB – Simulink, OrCAD, Altium Designer

5.   Programming Languages: Python (PyCharm, Tensor flow, Google Co Lab), MATLAB – Script
