
Electrical Engineer
Job description
Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to thrive in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment while supporting design and procurement tasks.
Rate Range: $30/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Electrical Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for manufacturing, power generation, or transmission projects.
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting based on established procedures and technical standards.
- Review technical drawings, schematics, and prints to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Manage inventory and order electrical parts through web-based sourcing and vendor coordination.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for engineering projects and product builds.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) for documentation, reporting, and presentations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field.
- 0โ2 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Ability to perform electrical testing, review technical drawings, and manage inventory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and experience creating Bills of Materials.
