
Electrical Engineer I
Job description
- Researches and prepares drafts and/or finished technical drawings to program management and customers
- Supports P-8A modifications to include internal racks, sensors / antennas, and radomes, as well as ensure accompanying Flight Clearance Technical Data Packages (TDPs) are complete and accurate
- Performs research and analysis on projects to enhance the technical development of the product and/or service
- Assists in establishing supportability and maintainability concepts based on the twelve logistics elements, examples include but are not limited to: generation of Engineering Change Proposal and Technical Directive documents; designing and maintaining mechanical supporting systems for P8 aircraft; determining the level and location of repair activities; management of Technical Data; review and management of Technical Publications; and generation and management of required databases
- Drafts, compiles, and reviews electrical installation design packages, which include technical drawings, concepts of operations, and impact statements
- Performs physical configuration audits, and engineering investigations
- Provides on-site support for modifications and responds to customer requests, reviews and signs technical documents (drawings, Electrical Load Distribution Analysis (ELDA), all test procedures, etc.)
- Develops and reviews Avionics Changes (AVCs), Rapid Action Minor Engineering Changes (RAMECs), and Airframe Changes (AFCs)
- Mentors journeyman level engineers

Requirements
- BS/BA and/or appropriate work experience of 0-2 years in electrical engineering
Desired Skills
- Familiarity working with a wide range of government civilians, military personnel, other contractors, and vendors and the ability to communicate effectively via telephone, email and in person, and analytical skills
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, able to read and correctly interpret engineering Level 3 electrical drawings and documents, short-term planning, and computer skills, and knowledge of engineering methods, operation techniques, and other principles in determining potential solutions
- Assign, manage, review, and approve avionics team work products

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
