Job description
CEIS | Rayne is currently looking for a Nuclear Electrical/I&C Design Engineer for one of our top clients.Job Title:
- Electrical/I&C Design Engineer
Details:
- Per diem
- 5-10 Year Contract
- They are working a 4 10’s schedule
- 2 days per week on-site
- Mobilization
Requirements:
- Computer Science or Electrical/I&C discipline
- NISP IP-ENG-001 Standard Design Process (SDP) qualified
- Must have commercial nuclear experience.

Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):
- Prepare Engineering Change Packages (ECP).
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis.
- Plan and implement the timely execution of assigned engineering activities.
- Prepare error-free engineering documents (e.g., drawings, sketches, instructions, inputs, calculations, analyses, evaluations) according to and bounded by industry codes, standards, and regulations to support engineering needs.
- Maintain up to date and relevant knowledge of industry codes and standards, safety culture, and design techniques suitable to the nuclear industry.
- Provide peer and technical reviews of engineering designs and engineering related documentation produced by others.
- Consult with other disciplines to ensure designs are compatible with and have considered all disciplinary requirements.
