Job Description

With more than 11,000 employees, HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding division is the largest manufacturing employer in Mississippi and a major contributor to the economic growth of Alabama. Think that’s cool? Keep reading:The candidates must have the ability to research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. The candidate must also have the ability to develop digital models of electrical power generation, distribution, propulsion and control systems and system components. A background in digital control systems would be beneficial for this position.

‍Basic Qualifications

Must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school.

‍Preferred Qualifications

Experience with modeling of electrical power generation, distribution, propulsion and control systems using MATLAB and Simulink and experience with hardware-in the loop are preferred.
