Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Assist in the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, and products using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Revit).
- Support the development of schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design requirements are met.
- Testing and Analysis:
- Perform basic electrical calculations and analysis to ensure design integrity and compliance with specifications.
- Assist in the testing and validation of prototypes and final products.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the design and testing phases.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- Assist in the creation of technical presentations and project status updates.
- Project Support:
- Work with senior engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones.
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of electrical components and systems.
- Provide support during Construction Administration.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical,).
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, signal processing, and power distribution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience:
- Internship or co-op experience in an electrical engineering role is a plus, but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., IEEE, NEC).
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).
Work Environment:
- This position may require occasional travel to job sites or client locations.
- Work is typically performed in an office setting, with some time spent existing buildings or on construction sites.
