Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare mechanical equipment specifications, data sheets, purchase requisitions and technical bid evaluations for rotating equipment, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping items and other mechanical equipment / materials as required
  • Familiar with ASME Section VIII coded vessels and/or with Pump and Compressor industry standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and review technical documentation.
  • Support interdisciplinary teams including Process, Piping, Structural, & Electrical Engineering.
  • Interfaces with other project disciplines and equipment suppliers in equipment sizing, rating and selection.
  • Participates in factory acceptance testing and/or site visits
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BSc, MSc or equivalent in Mechanical / Engineering Technology is required
  • 0 - 5+ years of experience
  • Working knowledge of ASME, API, and other industry standards.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to Mechanical Engineering
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills is required
  • High level of commitment to safety
  • Highly motivated and positive attitude
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred

Preferred:

  • Experience in EPC projects for oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.
  • Exposure to offshore or modular design environments.
  • NCEES Engineering-in-Training preferred
  • Familiarity with PV Elite, Compress, or similar software.
