Junior Security Engineer

The Junior Security Engineer will support the implementation and maintenance of the information security program that utilizes a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP). Focus on assisting senior engineers with security operations, learning security tools and technologies, and contributing to a secure environment.

• Security Operations Support: Assist senior engineers with the day-to-day operation of security tools and technologies.
• MSSP Interaction: Support communication and collaboration with the MSSP, assisting with ticket management and information gathering.
• Vulnerability Management Support: Assist with vulnerability scanning, analysis, and remediation efforts. Learn to utilize vulnerability management tools and interpret scan results.
• Security Incident Response Support: Participate in security incident response activities under the guidance of senior engineers, assisting with data collection and analysis.
• Documentation & Reporting Assistance: Assist with maintaining accurate documentation of security systems and processes. Contribute to the preparation of reports on security metrics.
• Security Training & Development: Actively participate in security training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

$90,000.00-$100,000.00
