
Machine Vision Engineer I
Job description
Entry-level Engineer to assist in design, development, installation and qualification of automation solutions. Uses theoretical concepts to resolve problems of limited scope and complexity under close supervision while achieving day-to day objectives. Responsible for supporting and delivering automation systems such that they comply with all customer requirements and adhere to industry & company standards
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Assist in the design, development and technical support of automation solutions.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and qualification of automation solutions.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation solutions.
• Work in a GMP environment where detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and system changes may be required.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of project files, including but not limited to Bill of Materials (BOM), design specifications, engineering drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications in order to build or program systems in accordance to provided system's requirements.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

• An understanding of engineering principles and tools in some of the following areas:
• Mechanical design and build
• Electrical design and build
• Robotics design and programming
• Control systems and programming
• Data systems design and implementation
• Machine Vision design and implementation
• Machine assembly and installation
• Software Development and integration
• Validation process design and execution
• Verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to identify and solve simple issues with guidance
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
