Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as On-Site in Charlotte, NC.

What you will do:

  • Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
  • Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
  • Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
  • Uphold manufacturing standards, including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling, fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
  • Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications, given local needs.
  • Serve as a voice of the customer for input on new design development.
  • Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).


What you will bring:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • PFMEA experience preferred
  • Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design
  • Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with the ability to build relationships.
  • Growth mindset – desire to expand technical skillset.
  • Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer focused
  • Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines
  • We prioritize practical experience and relevant skills. Candidates without a degree are encouraged to apply.


Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $62,000 - $109,950

Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, or geographic location where the work is performed.
