Job description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Louisville, KY team!

Our Mechanical Engineer will perform high quality engineering projects and mechanical and material evaluations to meet customer expectations in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Location: Louisville, KY

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in KY. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.

Your Challenge

  • Organize projects for standardized testing and develop techniques for special projects.
  • Prepare and review reports to ensure quality.
  • Analyze samples using a variety of analytic techniques, including but not limited to, use of a broad spectrum of instrumentation and/or specialty area testing disciplines.
  • Perform all work in accordance with proper work procedures and in accordance with IMR safety guidelines.
  • Train and coordinate other laboratory personnel, prepare samples, and collect data.
  • interface with customers regularly to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Review special project leads, quotes, and test plans.
  • Exhibit and maintain a high level of engineering skills, keep abreast of developments and technology.
  • Service as a technical resource for others.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing prioritizes
  • Mechanical testing

Preferred:

  • CWI Certificate
