
Mechanical Engineer
Job description
What You’ll Do:
Lead mechanical design projects from concept to completion
Apply engineering and machine design principles to develop custom solutions
Create, modify, and update mechanical drawings and BOMs
Analyze and improve existing designs for performance, cost, and efficiency
Mentor engineers and designers on best practices in machine design
Oversee site inspections and supervise equipment installations
Work hands-on with assembly teams to troubleshoot and optimize designs
Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Develop and maintain engineering and drafting standards
What You Bring to the Team:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Experience designing custom industrial equipment
Passion for innovation and problem-solving
Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, fabrication)
Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (Inventor preferred)
Experience with GD&T (preferred)
FEA experience (a plus)
Hands-on field experience and ability to conduct site audits (a plus)
Willingness to travel up to 15%, including some international opportunities
