Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and model 3D parts and assemblies in SolidWorks.
• Develop detailed drawings optimized for multiple manufacturing methods.
• Revise and update models and drawings during and after production.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date assemblies and BOMs (Bills of Materials).
• Manage part and assembly data within SolidWorks PDM.
• Create and maintain electrical drawings for production throughout the build process.
• Provide on-site support, including occasional travel to client sites for installations and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of metal and plastic manufacturing methods.
• Experience creating and interpreting electrical schematics for industrial systems.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (2D/3D CAD) and familiarity with ISO dimensioning standards, fits/clearances, and surface finishes.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic and electric actuators.
• Ability to think critically, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues independently.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of industrial experience in mechanical design.
