
Mortgage Systems Developer
Job description
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Mortgage Systems Manager, design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable mortgage lending applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- Utilize Encompass tools to create custom workflows, plugins, and integrations within the Loan Origination System (LOS).
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs to integrate with various third-party systems and applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
- Perform initial testing and work with internal teams to help ensure updates are working as intended.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the mortgage lending platform.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the mortgage lending industry.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in C# and/or .NET Framework/Core.
- Experience with developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
