We believe in the future of wellness is precision-driven, personalized, and always evolving - and we're just getting started.

‍About The Role

  • As a QA Engineering Intern, you'll support our Engineering and Product teams by helping ensure the quality of our mobile apps and connected hardware products. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software and hardware testing while learning how to work in a fast-paced, collaborated tech environment.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with manual testing of new features, firmware updates, and bug fixes on iOS, Android, and connected devices.
  • Help write clear bug reports with steps to reproduce, expected vs actual behavior, and supporting media (screenshots or videos).
  • Support the team in tracking test coverage and preparing for regression testing before app releases.
  • Work with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  • Help coordinate feedback from internal testers and early users.
  • Learn to communicate testing insights clearly and contribute to discussions about the product quality.
  • Contribute to maintaining a shared knowledge base of test cases and known issues.
  • Get exposure to QA tools like Jira, Linear, Confluence, or spreadsheets.

What Success In This Role Looks Like

  • You consistently test new features and updates thoroughly, identifying bugs and edge cases before release.
  • Your bug reports are clear, detailed, and helpful to developers, making it easier to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • You proactively communicate testing insights and contribute to improving QA processes.
  • You show growth in your understanding of QA tools and practices, and take initiative in learning and contributing beyond assigned tasks.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or analytical field.
  • Strong attention to detail and a natural curiosity for how things work.
  • Comfortable using mobile apps and documenting steps or bugs with screenshots or videos.
  • Willingness to learn tools like Jira, Linear, or Confluence.
  • Organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team.
  • Bonus: Interest or experience in mobile app or hardware testing.

Work Environment and Process

  • Your Schedule: This is a part-time internship (20 – 30 hours per week), typically Tuesday through Thursday, during standard business hours (roughly 9 AM – 5 PM). Some flexibility may be available depending on team needs.
  • Where You’ll Be: This position is fully on-site at our El Segundo office. We love the energy of working together in person, being hands-on with our work, and believe collaboration is better when we’re face-to-face.
  • Internship Duration: This is an open-ended internship designed to be flexible. We conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins to make sure it’s a great fit – for both you and us. Depending on performance, availability, and business needs, the internship may evolve into a full-time role, wrap up if you’re returning to school, or conclude if priorities shift.
  • Interview Process:
  • Step 1: An intro call with HR to get to know you and answer your questions.
  • Step 2: A conversation with the hiring manager to dive into your interests, experience, and goals.
  • Step 3: A team chat with a few folks you’ll be working with – casual, collaborative, and a chance to get to know each other.
  • Step 4: A final conversation with our CEO to wrap things up and talk big picture.
