Senior Specialist Data Engineer

• Assist in design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) routines to ensure data quality and integrity
• Write efficient and scalable queries in a distributed computing environment, utilizing technologies such as Hadoop, PySpark, and Apache Zeppelin
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL, ensuring data is properly processed and stored
• Create data visualizations and reports using Tableau

‍Your ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages, such as Python and SQL
• Familiarity with distributed computing environments, including Hadoop, PySpark, and Apache Zeppelin
• Basic understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Background in semiconductor or manufacturing industry, with understanding of relevant processes and systems
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire for continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and identify insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Candidates must currently reside in Kentucky
