Software Developer (contract)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle. This position involves designing, coding, configuring, testing, debugging, and documenting system and application programs. You will assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements while collaborating with other development staff to ensure quality and consistency. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing systems specifications, developing customized software solutions, and actively participating in problem resolution to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities:

- Follow the company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.

- Assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.

- Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents while providing constructive feedback.

- Collaborate with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency in software solutions.

- Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.

- Develop and maintain operational and system-level documentation for software applications.

- Analyze systems specifications and designs; develop, modify, and install highly complex and customized software.

- Actively participate in the escalation of live errors and service problems to limit downtime and resolve issues effectively.

- Recognize inconsistencies in detailed technical specifications and propose necessary changes.
