Responsibilities
About the Role:
As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) I-Gen AI, you’ll be a key contributor on an Agile Scrum team, working across all areas of product development—from building new features to integrating cutting-edge technologies. While you may bring strengths in specific tools or languages, we value adaptability and a growth mindset. You’ll have opportunities to expand your skill set, collaborate across domains, and help the team deliver high-impact solutions by stepping in wherever needed to meet shared goals.
- Design and deploy generative AI applications and solutions, consistently delivering high-quality results aligned with team goals.
- Build scalable ML pipelines and data workflows in Databricks, applying robust software development practices within Agile Scrum teams.
- Integrate Azure AI services into enterprise applications, contribute to cloud migration efforts, and accelerate implementation through continuous learning and experimentation.
- Develop APIs and microservices for AI model serving, maintaining a production-first mindset focused on scalability, uptime, and rapid issue resolution.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, enhancing contextual relevance and performance of LLM-based solutions.
- Create custom AI solutions using LLMs and foundation models, supporting product features across web applications, data platforms, and API services.
- Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks for AI systems, leveraging automated pipelines to improve deployment speed and quality.
- Collaborate with data scientists to productionize ML models, contribute to test automation, peer reviews, and continuous improvement of product quality.
- Invest in Agile practices, improving time to market, team collaboration, and overall delivery excellence
Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong background in software development, test automation, and modern development practices
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and RESTful API design
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, transformers, and generative AI frameworks
- Skilled in Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow) and Azure AI services integration
- Familiar with microservices architecture, vector databases, and embedding technologies
- Comfortable with Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
