
Software Engineer
Job description
Tilt is seeking a motivated Software Engineer that’s just starting their career to join our Engineering team. As a Software Engineer, you'll dive into real-world production code, gaining hands-on experience while learning from seasoned professionals. We welcome individuals who are enthusiastic about diving in, learning, and contributing to the enhancement of our infrastructure. This position is full-time and reports to the team Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities will include 🖇️
- Maintaining production code/infrastructure and troubleshooting production errors
- Collaborating with senior engineers on software design, development, and maintenance.
- Learning core engineering concepts and applying them to solve technical challenges.
- Participating actively in team meetings, code reviews, and brainstorming sessions.

- Troubleshooting and debugging production issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Owning individual tasks and actively seeking feedback to continuously improve.
- Communicating progress, blockers, and solutions effectively with team members.

- You have completed a degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering) or a reputable coding bootcamp.
- You have experience using python/django and typescript/react.
- You possess a strong desire to learn and develop as a software engineer.
- You're technically inclined, with hands-on experience or projects in software development.

Total Compensation 💰
The projected annual salary range is $100,000- $110,000 USD plus stock options (ISOs), because we believe everyone should have some stake in our business. We are people-first and this ain’t some PR jazz, we truly give a damn about our peeps!
