This position is for a software engineer to support the LRHW software organization. You will help code, develop, and innovate technical solutions for soldier utilized ground systems.

This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to interface with software developers, test engineers, system engineers, program management, quality assurance engineers, and customer representatives. Lockheed Martin is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a position in Huntsville, AL.

We are looking for software engineers to craft and build innovative solutions for our customers. You will be part of an Agile team that utilizes state of the art commercial standard methodologies such as DevSecOps (automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, etc.) and modern development tools. You will participate in progressing system capabilities from early design through site acceptance focused on software reuse, COTS/FOSS integrations, and innovative, affordable best practices.

Desired skills

- Expertise in GitLab CI/CD, including advanced pipeline configuration, job artifacts, and dependency management
- Experience integrating DevOps tools into end-to-end pipelines
- Experience with Containerize applications using Docker and Podman
- Strong experience with object-oriented programming languages (such as Java, C++, C#, Python)
- Security+ Certification
