Software Engineer

This is a Software Development 1 position on our VNF modem team.  The responsibilities of this position involve understanding requirements, translating those into a software design, identifying and estimating the required work, and then implementing the software based solution as part of our software modem products.  As part of the team, this position will collaborate with other team members within an Agile Software Development environment that focuses on working software and continual improvement.

Experience and Skills

• BS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Beginning knowledge of C++
• Introduced to software design, implementation, and testing using current tools and techniques

Desired Skills and Experience

• Ability to understand, apply, and implement Digital Signal Processing algorithms and techniques in software is a plus.
• A knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Some experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment using the Atlassian tools

Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $80,000-$123,000
