Our high-performing consultants are natural leaders who manage a wide range of responsibilities that vary from assignment to assignment. Our consultant training programs, investment in career development, and premier client portfolio ensure constant challenge and rapid growth for our employees. Crew software engineering associates use a variety of technologies in Agile and lean startup methodologies to automate manual processes, create microsites, learn new technologies, and everything in between.

‍Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and deploy scalable microservices and APIs to support hospital connectivity and internal tooling
  • Develop customer order service middleware to meet dynamic hospital and business needs
  • Manage API endpoints and database integrations for real-time order metrics (order history, pricing, tracking)
  • Own internal platforms that support customer service automation and robotic tools
  • Write and maintain unit-tested code in JavaScript/Node.js; contribute to Python-based Lambda functions on AWS
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to refine user stories and understand technical story points
  • Use tools like Postman, Insomnia, and Bruno for API development and testing
  • Maintain and deploy services within Kubernetes clusters
  • Leverage Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD, incorporating SonarQube for code quality
  • Begin integrating Azure authentication across services
  • Manage Dockerized environments with custom container images for consistent deployments

Qualifications

  • Languages: JavaScript, Node.js, Python (Lambda functions)
  • Cloud: AWS (preferred), Azure (authentication research in progress)
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker
  • API Tools: Postman, Insomnia, Bruno
  • Platform: Kubernetes (API deployment), Apage
  • Become an SME and go deep when needed
  • Know how to research and figure things out
  • Take extreme ownership—tracking not just your work, but how it connects to the global team’s progress
  • Understand the dynamic of working across time zones (India/US teams) and adapt accordingly
  • Take accountability and act like the lead developer even if you're not labeled that way

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in MedTech, healthcare integrations, or hospital systems
  • Strong understanding of secure API development and monitoring
  • Familiarity with global team collaboration and asynchronous workflows
