WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Software Engineer I on the Individual Solutions Salesforce CRM team, you will be focusing on building out our Salesforce CRM for our advisors and other users.  We strive to create the ideal individual investor experiences and want to offer the best in education, advice, service, and products.  This team is in Retirement & Income Solutions (RIS) and works frequently in the Individual Retirement Account (IRA) space. In this role you will be focusing on Salesforce CRM, using Javascript and other technologies to build out functions and experiences in the platform.  

  • Focus on growing as an engineer, learning existing tools, resources and processes. With guidance, develop productivity skills by learning source control, editors, the build system, and other tools as well as automated testing best practices.
  • Contribute to the culture of being open to sharing ideas and celebrating creativity.
  • Developing the ability to write readable, maintainable, supportable code. Begin to learn security polices and standards.
  • Create well-crafted applications utilizing tools, best practices, and industry standards to reach your potential.
  • Understand customer and business needs. Develop knowledge of a single layer of the solution.
  • Participates in code/design reviews and learning technical design. Begin learning business and technical strategies.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree, preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience
  • Basic planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required.
  • Proficiency with database applications, knowledge of mainframe, distributed and/or web programming language.
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Must have the desire and ability to learn new technology and continuously grow.
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with both IT and non-IT partners.

Additional Preferred Experience:

  • Salesforce development experience.
  • Experience working with Javascript and Typescript.

Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)$54000 - $98400 / yearTime Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.Pension EligibleYesAdditional Information

Work Environments

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
