System Application Engineer Intern

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for you to learn hands on, field experience in our System Application Engineer Intern role. This will based in our Lyndhurst New Jersey and New Your City neighboring area. Prepare to embark on an insightful journey into your next career!

What will you do?

• Troubleshoot and repair customer systems
• Understand how to read plans, specifications, drawings, and estimates
• Manage incoming requests from customer, subcontractors, engineers, and project managers efficiently so that they are addressed in a timely manner while balancing work assignment
• Be able to read and understand hardware submittals, read or write simple programming, and assist others in startup of control’s equipment at a basic level with mentor support
• Participate in basic field startup using standard start up and checkout processes

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field
• Proficient in software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
• Local to Lyndhurst, New Jersey, or New York City, New York area
• Have a valid driver's license
• Hands-on experience in the field

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $23.00 - $27.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and recognition programs.

The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
