Job description
Front-End Development
- Build, test, and optimize responsive and accessible web pages using modern front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React and Svelte).
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes into responsive and functional web pages. Ensure consistency in design elements across the site.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure the feasibility of designs.
- Ensure site works consistently across major browsers and platforms, addressing any compatibility issues.
Ecommerce Development
- Develop and maintain features on ecommerce platforms, ensuring seamless integration with back-end systems and APIs.
- Build and enhance key functionalities such as product pages, search functionality, cart/checkout workflows, and user account management.
- Use analytics tools to analyze user behavior, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to enhance conversion rates and usability.
- Help design user-friendly navigation, filters, and checkout flows to simplify the shopping experience.
- Perform functional and usability testing on ecommerce workflows, including checkout and payment processes.
Work Environment
This role primarily operates in an office environment. However, occasional visits to the warehouse or retail locations may be required.

Qualifications needed to perform this position:
Required Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with version control systems and platforms, such as Git and GitHub.
- Familiarity with website analytics and conversion optimization.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor of Computer Science, Programming, or a related field.
- Experience using front-end CSS libraries such as Bootstrap or Tailwind.
- Some knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (e.g., PHP, JavaScript, Python).
- Solid understanding of SEO principles.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, with expected hours of work set based on the needs of the business. Flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate peak sales periods or special projects.
