Hi, I’m Alexander Gervais, a software engineer with a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications that improve user experience and system reliability. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fitchburg State University with a B.S. in Computer Science, and since then, I’ve been focused on full-stack development, DevSecOps practices, and cloud-native solutions. I’ve built projects like SubGenGUI, an automated subtitle generator powered by Whisper AI, and client-facing websites such as Cosmic Boogeyman, where I combined performance optimization with creative frontend design. My tech stack includes Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Docker, AWS, GitLab CI/CD, and more. I enjoy working across the stack, automating workflows, and solving infrastructure challenges with tools like Kubernetes and Terraform. I enjoy taking on projects, whether freelancing, collaborating, or personal, that let me use code to solve problems. I'm always eager to learn new skills and technologies that help me grow as a developer and systems thinker.
