About Me
Throughout my academic and extracurricular journey, I have developed a strong foundation in creative and technical skills, including proficiency in software such as Premiere Pro and Photoshop. During my A-level Media Studies coursework, I created a series of three print and three video advertisements for an original skincare brand, achieving an A* for the project. My Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) allowed me to combine my analytical and research abilities with my personal interests. As an athlete, I explored whether heightened media exposure influences athletic performance, gaining valuable insights into sports media and how athletes engage with content about themselves. This project earned me a grade A. Currently, I serve as the Social Media and Marketing Executive on the University of Manchester Sports Exec Committee, a role I secured among a record-breaking number of applicants. In this position, I have curated engaging content, such as the ‘We Are UOM’ reel showcasing the university’s athletic talent, and created weekly BUCS updates to enhance engagement with Team Manchester. These efforts have surpassed our annual engagement targets within the first semester. I thrive in dynamic environments where I can combine creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration to produce meaningful results. With my unique combination of skills and experiences, I am excited to contribute to impactful projects and further develop my expertise.
