About Me
I’ve always believed that the best games tell a story—both through their narrative and gameplay mechanics. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, I specialized in Game Design and Development, where I immersed myself in the intricacies of creating engaging gameplay systems. Since 2019, I've been developing a portfolio filled with 3D art projects and video game prototypes that not only showcase my creativity but also reflect my technical skills using tools like Unreal Engine 5. During my time at Purdue, I honed my coding abilities across multiple languages including C++, Python, and C#. Since graduation, I've worked as a freelance software developer. During this time, I've contributed more than 300 high-quality code snippetsto enhance LLMs through DataAnnotation.tech. This experience deepened my understanding of prompt engineering and the importance of clean code in AI applications. In addition to my technical journey, I worked at Jimmy John's where I learned the value of collaboration firsthand. By streamlining workflows with my team, we boosted our efficiency significantly—handling over 150 transactions per shift while ensuring customers left satisfied. It was a great reminder that whether in fast food or gaming, teamwork is key to success. While working at DHL as part of their Configuration Management team, I implemented inventory management strategies that reduced stockouts and improved operational efficiency—tracking over 100,000 units accurately. These experiences have shaped me into someone who thrives on problem-solving and innovation. Outside of work and studies, I love exploring new gaming technologies and trends. Whether it's creating interactive experiences or simply enjoying a good game with friends, my passion for the gaming world is ever-present. I'm always looking to grow my personal and professional network. Feel free to connect via LinkedIn or contact me directly at calebjwalkerbusiness@gmail.com.
