About Me
Hello, I'm Chloe Ward, a Senior Mass Communications major with a Business Administration minor at the illustrious Xavier University of Louisiana. Originally from Madison, Mississippi, I've discovered my passion for communications, leadership, and service at Xavier. On campus, I serve as the Graphics Chair for the Homecoming Committee, Graphic Editor and staff writer for The Xavier Herald, and a member of the Senior Class Council's Public Relations team. These roles allow me to channel my creativity and strategic communication skills into promoting campus events and initiatives. In Fall 2023, I was honored to become an initiate of the Gamma Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where I currently serve as Technology Chair and Sisterhood Month Chair. Beyond campus, I am dedicated to giving back to my community. I volunteer with organizations such as the Sojourner Truth Center and Brown Girls Swim in New Orleans, and I also serve as a Community Outreach volunteer for For Brown Girls Inc. in Jackson, Mississippi. Professionally, I have explored my interests in sports journalism and media production through diverse experiences. As a manager for the Xavier Women's Basketball Team and a member of the broadcast team at Pepperdine University, I gained hands-on experience in storytelling and media operations. I also interned with the Communications department at the Historic New Orleans Collection and currently serve as the Marketing and Development Intern at First Tee Greater New Orleans. My ultimate goal is to pursue a Master's in Sports Management and a JD in Sports and Entertainment Law. I aspire to work as a sports agent or public relations coordinator, combining my passion for communications, advocacy, and the dynamic world of sports
