About Me

Hello! My name is Cydney, and I recently graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in Film & Television. Throughout my coursework, I gained comprehensive knowledge of pre-production, production, and post-production processes in the realm of Film and TV. My particular passion lies in screenwriting and the full creative development of film projects from inception. During my time at Montclair, I wrote my first feature screenplay and several short films, one of which I directed and edited myself. This hands-on experience allowed me to delve deeply into the filmmaking process and solidified my interest in various writing mediums such as journalism, creative essays, and novels. I pride myself on being adaptable and see my degree as a springboard into diverse environments and paces. I am eager to continue nurturing my love for learning, media, and writing as I embark on the early stages of my career.
