About Me
Hi, I'm Esther Casco Robles and I am a Computer Science major at the University of Virginia with a minor in Data Science and General Business. I’m passionate about using data-driven software and thoughtful UX/UI design to connect people, improve user experiences, and drive innovation. I love creating solutions that merge technical precision with design simplicity, turning complex ideas into accessible, meaningful tools for users. As a first-generation Latina in STEM, I’m proud to be breaking barriers and using my Computer Science education to inspire others who share similar backgrounds. My journey motivates me to keep learning and helping create more inclusive spaces in tech. During my studies at the University of Virginia, I have gained leadership and collaboration skills through my involvement in SHPE(Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers), SLU, and LAIC. I also serve as Vice President of SHPE @ UVA and a Career Prep Fellow with Management Leadership for Tomorrow, where I continue to grow my technical and leadership abilities. I have worked on exciting projects like developing an Android app called StudyGroup that helps students collaborate and schedule sessions, and a Galaga-style game remake. Outside of tech, I love learning about astronomy, doing makeup, playing video games, pickleball, exercising, and volunteering in my community.Hi, I'm Esther Casco Robles and I am a Computer Science major at the University of Virginia with a minor in Data Science and General Business.
