About Me

Hello! I'm Fisayo Babatunde, a budding UX Designer and Researcher with a deep-rooted passion for understanding human behavior and creativity. Born in Ikeja, Nigeria, and raised mainly in Houston, my home. My journey into the world of user experience began in high school, where I first dabbled in coding, sparking my interest in technology and design. As a recent sociology graduate from The University of Texas at Austin, my college career has shaped my approach to UX by emphasizing the importance of social context and user-centric design strategies. My education has been supplemented by courses such as Creative Problem Solving, Introduction to Design Thinking, Sociology of Creativity, Social Research Methods, Digital Media Production, and User Experience Design, equipping me with a versatile skill set that spans multiple research and creative production domains. In addition to my UX design skills, I have experience crafting content that ranges from academic research papers to engaging UX case studies and project documentation, allowing me to effectively communicate complex information in a way accessible to diverse audiences. I am enthusiastic about furthering my education and working on projects that enhance user engagement and foster inclusive digital and physical environments. I invite you to explore my portfolio to see how my academic background and practical experience enable me to create empathetic and effective UX designs that resonate with diverse audiences and drive meaningful interactions.
