I’m Ja’Kayla Bowie—a former Division I athlete, coach, and entrepreneur in the making. Sports have shaped who I am, teaching me discipline, leadership, and the value of competition. After playing at Texas State and earning my degree in Exercise and Sports Science, I continued my journey in athletics, coaching multiple sports while being a digital art teacher. Now, I’m focused on taking what I’ve learned from sports and applying it to become an Athletic Director. I am currently getting my M.S in Sports Administration at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
