About Me

Ask anyone: Software Engineering Bootcamps and Hackathons are no small undertakings. Let alone both together! Yet, when I was given the opportunity to compete ahead of most students, not only did I take on both, but I led my team in the Springboard Hackathon to create an innovative website called Roomz. I led a team of UI/UX designers and software developers while heading up the software design of the Flask site. And this is what you'll come to know and love about me: I love a challenge and, if I set my mind to a task - be it organizing a team or producing a multi-page website - it's going to get done. I've been honing industry skills like JavaScript and Python for the past two years through online courses, algorithm practice sites, and hands-on development. Until 2022, I worked as a math teacher, where I focused on time management, leadership, and teamwork to help my students tackle their work with the kind of fervor I work for, and I have brought those same skills with me into software development, working hard to realize the vision of each project.
