About Me

I am excited to apply for the Machine Learning Engineer role. With over eight years of experience spanning machine learning, data science, and software engineering, I have built and deployed production-ready AI systems that consistently deliver measurable business impact. In my current role at Meriti, I’ve led the development of large-scale ML solutions across computer vision, NLP, and generative AI. This includes building a Next Best Action recommendation system that improved engagement in pharmaceutical commercialization, and leading the end-to-end development of a HIPAA-compliant conversational AI system for hospitals that enables physicians to interact with patient data securely through natural language. Along the way, I’ve guided cross-functional teams, mentored junior engineers, and made key architectural decisions that shaped successful outcomes. I thrive at the intersection of research and real-world application, taking complex problems and turning them into scalable, production-ready solutions. My background in MLOps, cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, and experience with secure data practices put me in a strong position to contribute immediately.
