About Me
I’m Jessica Thant, a UCLA student majoring in Business Economics and Cognitive Science, with a strong interest in work that blends creativity, strategy, and social impact. I grew up in Myanmar, which shaped my global outlook and drive to create meaningful change. At UCLA, I’ve led growth marketing for an AI outfit try-on app, recruiting over 50 first-time users in a week, conducting user research, and working with engineers to launch new features. I'm also involved on campus as External Vice President of the Burmese Student Association, where I coordinate collaborations with Southeast Asian cultural and professional organizations and promote Burmese representation on campus. In my free time, I love to cook, read autobiographies, watch documentaries and hang out with friends.
