About Me

I am a current senior at Virginia Tech majoring in Human Development with minors in Psychology and Adaptive Brain & Behavior. I have a strong passion for helping others, and am extremely active in on campus programs where I work with students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them become more confident with an independent lifestyle. I strive to be the best mentor and confidant to my peers, and hope to use my knowledge of intellectual and physical disabilities to make an impact in my community even after my time as a student has come to a close. I am eager to continue my learning through professional opportunities with the overarching focus of aiding those in need, through providing a different viewpoint on social science obstacles that may arise of all natures.
