About Me
Navigating America as a first-generation immigrant, Kathleen aims to champion historically marginalized populations through her cross-cultural leadership and lived experiences in the Philippines. She found her interest in writing and politics at a young age, which encouraged her involvement in campus journalism, identity-focused organizations, and academic research. With her foreign affairs education at the University of Virginia, she bridges her passion for global development and inclusion with people-oriented leadership and out-of-the-box solutions. As a woman of color, she is interested in digital marketing as a platform to foster belonging and representation in the increasingly global society. She hopes to connect people and brands through storytelling in different mediums: global communications, website management, content creation, graphic design, social media, and research.
