About Me

I am an experienced and compassionate professional with a background in academic tutoring, social care, and a deep interest in psychology. My career journey has taken me through diverse roles where I’ve been able to make meaningful impacts in people’s lives, from supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to providing social care services for homeless individuals, including those in active addiction. In my role as an academic tutor, I specialized in creating tailored learning plans for children with ASD, focusing on their unique needs and strengths. This experience honed my skills in patience, adaptability, and communication—ensuring that every child had a chance to thrive academically and socially. In the realm of social care, I’ve had the privilege of working with vulnerable populations, such as homeless individuals, where I focused on offering both immediate support and longer-term strategies for rehabilitation. Additionally, I’ve supported children in care, where my focus has been on building trust and stability to help them navigate challenging circumstances. My passion for psychology, particularly in the areas of developmental disorders, has been the driving force behind my career choices. I’m deeply fascinated by how the human mind works, especially in understanding how early interventions can change life trajectories. This interest shapes my long-term goal of entering the clinical psychology field, where I aim to make a significant difference in mental health, particularly for those facing developmental and social challenges. Throughout my journey, I’ve cultivated skills that are critical in both care and educational settings, including: Professionalism: always maintaining a high standard of conduct and ethics. Teamwork: collaborating effectively with colleagues, families and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes. Resilience: remaining focused and positive, even in the face of challenges. Motivation: bring enthusiasm and a proactive approach to every task. Discipline: staying committed to continuous learning and professional growth. I'm always open to connecting with like-minded professionals and organizations who share my passion for making a positive impact in people’s lives. Feel free to reach out—I’d love to connect and explore opportunities for collaboration or growth in the field of psychology and social care.
