About Me
🔒 Passionate about cybersecurity | IT Support Analyst at The University of Arizona Global Campus | Cybersecurity Student at Western Governors University (WGU) | Continuous Learner In 2019, my journey took an unexpected turn when I stumbled upon a Women in Tech Voucher to attend Hacker Halted in Atlanta, GA. That day ignited my passion for cybersecurity, and was one of the best days of my life. I had such a great time and met so many amazing people. I left with a strong urge to learn more about Cybersecurity. Despite the pandemic-induced challenges, I continued my tech journey, joining WGU to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. Currently, as an IT Support Analyst at UAGC, I provide technical assistance and troubleshooting while ensuring IT security and compliance. Armed with certifications in ITILv4, SSCP, Security+, and A+, and expertise in Okta administration and Jira, I am dedicated to optimizing security tool deployment, leveraging advanced technologies and resources to ensure seamless, secure and efficient experiences. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am a member of the National Council of Negro Women, WGU Cybersecurity Club, participate in the National Cyber League, and have begun to enjoy learning with Try Hack Me. I thrive on networking and collaborative learning within the IT and cybersecurity community. Resilience defines my approach—I embrace challenges, adapt, and problem-solve with persistence. Setbacks only fuel my determination to grow and succeed. Ready to connect and contribute to the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity! Finally, I affirm; I am resilient, I am opulent, I am successful in all that I do. There is no losing, there are no failures, only lessons.
