About Me
Hello! My name is Pedro Pajarillo Jr. and I recently graduated from Rutgers University. I majored in computer science with a focus on software engineering, systems and security engineering, and minored in cognitive science with the focus on brain development and algorithms. Before graduating, I worked as a computer science tutor at my university's computer science lounge and helped over 70 students in data structures and algorithms per week. For my senior year, I was promoted to Head Tutor/Computer Science Student Manager. This position consisted of maintaining over 30 Linux servers from the Department of Computer Science, performing troubleshooting and routine maintenance on the machines. I also led computer science tours alongside the computer science department, welcoming prospective students. Finally, I helped create a clean and welcoming space for students and professors, thus becoming a role model of the computer science department. I was also the Head Graduate Teaching Assistant and helped grade and teach Python to over 40 students in the Master of Business and Science degree. I was the main communicator between the other teaching assistants and the head professors. Finally, I helped design and implement new assignments for the course and ensured they align with the curriculum objectives. I am a young, hardworking and dedicated programmer who specializes in many different APIs, systems and frameworks in the world of software engineering. I bring passion and dedication to many different projects and quitting is never an option in my book. Thank you for your time and hope you have a great day.
